Powerline Case Study

The American Transmission Company employed ViSiVi for their Major Projects in order to visualise the vast spans of their transmission routes, while incorporating and aligning their geospatial data and all other asset management systems into one comprehensive user-friendly tool.  ViSiVi was therefore a very powerful collaboration tool for integrating project sites.

 

ViSiVi’s numerous applications for the project, which include the mapping of stakeholder locations and providing high-resolution detailed views of related landowner issues, were applicable throughout every stage of the project.  ViSiVi aided various departments that include legal and regulatory, planning and operations, project management and engineering, corporate communications and customer relations.

ViSiVi is an invaluable tool that integrates high resolution oblique photos with CAD and GIS data, allowing a detailed field review without leaving the office - ATC.
