SkyVision is an aerial surveillance company with 50 years experience in patrol flying in the United States and approaching ten years in the UK. The company was set up in 1950’s Texas to patrol pipeline right-of-ways. The company, still going strong today, now works across the world.

In aerial surveillance, observers are the single most important success factor, followed by relevant data capture and effective reporting. That is why we rate our surveillance personnel as our most valuable business asset. Spending hours in the air and being able to concentrate on minute detail on the ground is something that very few can do and even fewer do well. Our team of ‘observers’ have been picked for their attitude, aptitude and background experience. The observers scrupulously train for a range of job roles from pipeline inspection to environmental monitoring, from landing airports light surveys to aerial traffic patrols.

Knowing what to report is one thing how to do it quite another. SkyVision develop a bespoke reporting method to suit each individual client. Delivery of succinct informative data in near real time is essential for a lot of surveillance applications. We have developed various reporting formats for differing roles. Most SkyVision report formats include delivery of geo-referenced video derived imagery. The digital mapping aspect of the reports is as crucial as the imagery. In order that incidents may be prevented or reacted to quickly and accurately all report formats from the basic to the complex are delivered via email.

SkyVision has the ability to deploy anywhere in the world, at very short notice. This has been a critical success factor in this business sector.
